Pumpkin Protein is a protein rich product with an interesting amino acid profile and good digestibility. The pumpkin seeds are mechanically pressed, during this process most of the oil content is reduced.
The remaining residue (pumpkin seed meal) is used as a base for further purification to raise the protein content. After grinding, a green crumbly powder with a typical taste and odor remains.
This ingredient is also available as an organic product. Pumpkin Protein 80% is suitable as a vegetable ingredient for both food and feed applications.
